Examples of SPS work showing how asset assessment, technical preparation and commercial execution can recover financial value, extend equipment life and reduce unnecessary waste.
S&P Solution partnered with Vodafone Albania to meet the growing demand for next-generation Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Instead of sourcing brand-new devices, we located a partner company that was retiring a batch of Wi-Fi 6 CPE units. By refurbishing and adapting these devices to Vodafone’s technical and branding requirements, we provided a cost-effective and sustainable solution. This initiative reduced electronic waste, shortened lead times, and proved how circular-economy thinking can deliver both environmental and operational value.
SPS assessed a retired equipment batch from Vodafone, coordinated refurbishment and testing, and remarketed the units to MTS. The project converted idle stock into recovered value for the originating operator while supplying reusable equipment at a lower cost than new.
SPS structures managed recovery programs for surplus, returned and decommissioned telecom equipment. Assets can remain operator-owned and be held through an approved third-party logistics partner while SPS coordinates assessment, testing, grading, refurbishment, buyer identification, remarketing, logistics and reporting. This route is designed to maximize recovery value when time is not the primary constraint.
SPS entered a refurbishment agreement with ZTE for telecom devices. The work supports structured testing, refurbishment and reuse, helping operators extend device life and improve the recovery potential of CPE, fiber/ONT-GPON and related telecom assets.
SPS is expanding its technical capability for CPE, ONT/GPON, coax and TV/STB equipment. The scope includes testing, grading, repair, refurbishment, quality control and, where technically, contractually and legally possible, configuration or software adaptation for second-life deployment. Capabilities are applied according to the exact model, condition and buyer requirements.
